ST KEVIN'S COLLEGE 48th ART SHOW

The St Kevin’s College Art Show is a non-acquisitional annual award exhibition.

Now in its 48th year, it is considered one of the longest running events of its kind in the country.

In 2018 emerging and established Australian artists will be selected to present contemporary  artworks for general viewing and selling. The central location of St Kevin’s College, Toorak, benefits visitors to this exhibition with easy venue access via public transport and accessible parking.

Prize monies totalling $14,000 are on offer to artists in show.

Louisa Bufardeci, Melbourne based contemporary artist with significant international and national exhibition experience, will be the 2018 Judge for the  two prize categories. 

- The St Kevin’s College Art Show Prize for:

The Most Outstanding Work in any Medium

$10,000 for a work of any medium.

- The Brother McCarthy Memorial Award

$3,500 for the best work on paper.

(formerly known as the Award for the Best Pastel, Watercolour or Drawing).

Winning artists will be announced at the Opening Night Function, Friday 25 May, 8pm.

Patrons attending the exhibition can also cast a vote in the People’s Choice Award.

The artist who collects the most votes by close of exhibition on Monday 28 May, shall be awarded a cash prize, with the winner notified and announced in the St Kevin’s College newsletter on Thursday 31 May.
